As a specialist provider in Pre-Hospital Care, Spark Medical can provide patient transportation from routine transport to those with a high-dependency, intensive care, emergency care requirement.

We operate a fleet of emergency ambulances with either a Paramedic or Technician led crew.

Our aim is to provide a service to our clients and patients that is beyond all expectation, we pride ourselves on providing high quality, patient-focused services from Paramedic led 999 transport services to HDU and routine transport.

Depending on your requirements we can provide everything from Paramedic crewed A&E ambulances to Non-Emergency Patient Transport. Furthermore, for more complex transport, we can provide medical teams consisting of Doctors and Nursing staff, affording the best possible patient care, relative to the condition and requirements of each particular patient.

Medical Repatriation

Whether by land, sea or air; we offer a full medical repatriation service for patients looking to return to the UK. Our long history of experience providing repatriation services to private individuals, the NHS, travel agents and insurance companies allows us to take care of all logistical requirements to transfer patients with airside transfers available anywhere in the country. We can meet the needs of a wide variety of patients whether returning to the UK or returning to their home country.

Our fully trained medical staff take care of patients through recovery as they travel, with Paramedics on hand at all times. Modern, state of the art vehicles offer a comfortable and stable transfer between countries whether the patients is returning home or continuing care.

The safety and well-being of your patient is our number one priority. We are fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and ensure all our ambulance teams comply fully with its Fundamental Standards.

    Is the patient on any supplemental oxygen?
    Does the patient have an indwelling urinary catheter?
    Does the patient have a “do not resuscitate” order/ RESPECT form or advance directive in place?
    Are any regular medications required during the proposed time of transfer?
    Does the patient take any time critical medications, eg. insulin, anti-parkinson’s medication, anti-epilepsy medication?
    Can the patient self-administer medication?
    Does the patient have any potentially transmissible infections? - MRSA, C.Diff, norovirus, TB, COVID-19, other (please specify)
    Do any mobility aids or luggage need to be transported?
    Will an escort be travelling with the patient?
